Gantt Chart

The Gantt chart view displays tasks and milestones on a horizontal timeline. It is the standard view for project planning and progress tracking.

Timeline Display

  • The horizontal axis shows the project timeline.
  • The vertical axis lists tasks from your table.
  • Each task appears as a bar from its start date to its end date.
  • A vertical today line marks the current date.

Progress Tracking

  • Overdue tasks are highlighted.
  • Completed or partially completed tasks show progress visually.
  • Zoom in and out to switch between day, week, and month scales.

Required Fields

Gantt view needs at least a task name and a start/end date field. Adding a Progress field makes the chart more informative.
